1. Johns Hopkins CSSE’s used open-source data to make this interactive map reporting confirmed global Coronavirus cases in a seamless user experience.
2. Dubbed the most informative Coronavirus data visualisation on the internet, this counter by CanaDATA was created using Python for the data engine, Javascript for the User Interface and Flourish for some of the figures.
3. View the impact of quarantines of Coronavirus in China from Space. These maps present a fascinating picture before and after Chinese New Year. According to creator Geographist, the visualisations compare “concentrations of nitrogen dioxide, a noxious gas emitted by motor vehicles, power plants, and industrial facilities” between January and February.
They added: “According to NASA scientists, the reduction in NO2 pollution was first apparent near Wuhan, but eventually spread across the country. Millions of people have been quarantined in one of the largest such actions in human history.”
