The Interhacktives Podcast launches tomorrow

Staying up to date with never-ending platform updates, the new ways publications are using social media and other related headlines could easily be a full-time job. That’s where we come in.

The Interactive Journalism MA students at City, University of London are back for another season of The Interhacktives Podcast, your weekly update of the biggest social media news headlines affecting social media teams in the newsroom.

The first episode of the new series will be released on Friday, 25 February at 8 AM GMT, everywhere you listen to podcasts.

In this episode, Olivia Burney, Bryony Gooch and Freya Graham discuss the launch of Donald Trump’s TRUTH social, TikTok videos becoming longer and the introduction of Instagram Story likes.

Let us help you lessen your workload by joining us every Friday for a recap of the three updates you need to know about to ensure your publication is using social media efficiently and effectively to reach you targets.

Our episodes are 15 minutes long and will be released every Friday at 8 AM. Each week, the podcast will welcome a different student on the course to explain how these headlines affect your work.
