Cision is the number one place to go to to find jobs in journalism and PR. All the big nationals will advertise here and new jobs are added daily.
Journo Resources
A must have bookmark for all journalism students. Aside from advertising job opportunities, they also have the most comprehensive list of journalism grad schemes that you can find online. Plus tips of pitching, freelancing and so much more!
Mediaargh
A lovely website for young journalists that advertises paid(!) internships and media jobs. They also publishing career advice covering topics such as ‘getting media work experience when you have no experience.’ Follow them on Twitter too where they post new jobs daily.
Journalism.co.uk
Stay up-to-date with what’s happening in the industry while looking for vacancies. This site advertises jobs for reporters, editors, designers – you name it. You can also sign up to receive a weekly update tailored to your specific interests.
The usual suspects
Aside from specialist sites, journalism jobs are also posted regularly on Indeed, LinkedIn and Gumtree – so don’t forget to check there. Of course big national organisations such as the BBC, Telegraph and Guardian also have their own job portals that you can search for directly.
